We love home remedies and tips to help us get relief quickly and today, we’ve got 10 health tips to use from your teeth to your feet!

  1. Headache Help: Rub peppermint essential oil or Tiger Balm on your temples. Both contain menthol which has analgesic properties to soothe an ache quickly. (More headache tips)
  2. Get Sharp: Sniff rosemary (fresh or the essential oil) before a test or meeting for a boost to the brain. Studies have shown that the aroma of rosemary helps you stay alert.
  3. Unwind: Add a few drops of lavender essential oil to a bath before bed to ease the stress of the day and help you sleep. Playing soothing music while in a lavender bath will also help you to reduce the “processing” we tend to do following a stressful day. (More stress soothers)
  4. Take Tulsi: Also known as Holy Basil, Tulsi manages the stress hormone cortisol and helps to boost mood and could help keep weight in check.
  5. Go Bananas: People with diets rich in potassium are less prone to high blood pressure and have more even energy levels. Not crazy about bananas? Try cantaloupe or oranges.
  6. Instant Immunity: Raw or lightly cooked garlic provides antiviral and antibacterial boots to your body. Be sure to increase your garlic intake if those around you are sick and if you’re trying to beat an illness.

  8. Fix Foot Pain: Soreness in the heel or arch of the foot can be remedied by stretching the area over a bottle or rolling pin.
