Cardamom is commonly used to treat indigestion by warming and stimulating the body. It is also useful to treat gas.

Garlic and Nutmeg are both useful for digestive issues. Try adding garlic to your meals or make a tea of nutmeg before or with a meal.

Lettuce and spinach are rich in vitamins A, B, C, and E and stimulate the smooth operation of the digestive tract. Add these bulky greens to your diet to assist in proper digestion.

Dill tea helps to relieve gas, indigestion, and cramps. To make dill tea, use one teaspoon dill seeds to eight ounces of cold water. Bring the blend to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Drink before or with a meal.

Lemon balm assist with digestion, especially in times of worry or anxiety.

Peppermint is well known to help indigestion, intestinal spasms, gas, and other similar conditions, particularly in children. Peppermint leaves as a tea or added to cottage cheese can assist in proper digestion.

Cabbage and kale are helpful for digestive problems because of the protective enzymes they produce when eaten.

Fennel in food will help aid digestion greatly. Too much acidity in the stomach can be regulated by drinking one cup of fennel tea. Fennel expels mucus and relieves cramps, gas, and indigestion. Chewing fennel seed relieves hunger and eases digestion.

Coriander is a digestive tonic and is a mild sedative. It is helpful for gas and indigestion.
