These Hanna Kroeger Brain Food recommendations are from Ageless Remedies from Mother’s Kitchen, a book that contains a wide variety of ailments and the natural products and foods in your home you can use to remedy them.

Brain Foods

1 pound sunflower seeds, 1/4 pound almonds, 1 pound wheat.  Grind up and eat 2 heaping tablespoons a day.

Barley and Coconut cocktail: 1 cup barley, 1 cup coconut juice, 1 tablespoon lecithin.  Add honey if desired.

Coconut is brain food.  Eat the meat and drink the milk.

Cardamom is an eye and brain food.

Leeks are delicious when boiled and used in soups and salads.

Get creative with your food and find out how it can be more beneficial to your health in this blog about healthy diet and making a plan for health stick! The foods listed here are wonderful examples of how we can eat to heal our bodies and we hope you’ll consider incorporating a few of them into your diet to improve brain function. We  have several products that are beneficial to memory and brain capacity and Kroeger Herb’s Brain Care Blend is a great example of that!

Hanna said “God helps those who help themselves” and, lucky for us, she left us with some wonderful books and herbal combinations so we would be able to do just that!

I’m going to try these. Thanks for sharing!

I’m a spelling nut and given this is about brain food… (under coconut, brain is spelled “brian”, may want to change that). :)
